The Maine 4-H Volunteer STEM Ambassadors module is an online course designed to introduce key concepts for 4-H STEM Ambassador volunteers (typically college students) to their volunteer role.
Participants will learn about:
- Volunteer roles & relationships
- Positive Youth Development
- Youth/Adult Partnerships
- Safe & Inclusive Environments
- Learn by Doing
- Risk Management & Mandated Reporting
This is a portion of the process for becoming a 4-H STEM Ambassador. Additional expectations include an application and synchronous training(s).
